Beachdrifter Condominiums
Jacksonville Beach, Florida
This four story beach front property was originally constructed of precast hollow-core concrete slabs and reinforced cast-in-place concrete beams and columns.
Excessive corrosion and concrete deterioration of the exterior structural concrete elements occurred due to the high chloride concentration in the concrete resulting from sea spray from the adjacent Atlantic Ocean.
